Roll by the shop and say congratulations to Ryan. He is dedicated to continuing the reputation Oakland Harley-Davidson has as the #1 shop in Northern California!
Also Congratulations to Nathan Forman
Oakland Harley-Davidson's New Assistant Manager
Nathan will oversee the Service Consultants, making sure your appointment is scheduled correctly and your bike will be done when promised. Stop by and welcome Nathan to the crew. |
Oakland Harley-Davidson is consistently ranked in the top 1% of dealerships NATIONALLY!
How do we stay there?
- Each associate works EVERY DAY at becoming better than they were the day before
- We genuinely care about our guests, and their passion for motorcycles
- We do what we say we are going to do, honestly, fairly, and consistently
- We work as a team
The Oakland Harley-Davidson team appreciates all of our guests that have made our shop the best in NorCal! If you haven't visited our store, come in and see what you have been missing.
Here is the crew at Oakland Harley-Davidson... |
Stan is our senior Certified Master of Technology Technician. This is the highest accolade you can earn through Harley-Davidson®. Stan has been here for over 30 years--there isn't much he hasn't encountered.
Stan is continually passing his knowledge on to the rest of our staff. In fact, all of our new Technicians are paired with Stan to ensure they are up to Oakland Harley-Davidson's high standards.
Stan acknowledges "You can't beat the fit and finish of a Harley-Davidson® product."

Mike is a one of Oakland Harley-Davidson®'s Master Technicians. He has been with Oakland Harley-Davidson® for almost five years now, and enjoys working on both Harley-Davidson® and Buell models.
Mike's specialty is engine diagnosis and repairs. When you come in the shop, you will most likely see Mike installing a 110" kit on a bike, as well as reconditioning cylinder heads. Mike built Ryan's engine on his Eletra Glide Standard.
| Engelbert has earned the prestigous Harley-Davidson® PHD Master of Technology status. Engelbert has studied with the best. He is old school, not satisfied until he finds the problem, verifies the repair, and checks out the bike for other issues.
Engelbert understands job quality and customer service--it shows in his work and his leadership. From mild to wild, Engelbert has built it all! If you have a problem that you think can't be fixed, Engelbert is the right guy for the job.

Rich is back! Rich Cundiff has returned where he belongs--at Oakland Harley-Davidson®. Rich is a Master Technician that worked at Faultline until he moved to the Sierra Foothills.
After trying a few years at a dealership closer to home, he just didn't feel right. Still living in the foothills, he travels over 200 miles each day to be part of the Oakland Harley-Davidson® team.
Rich brings years of experience with him, and will perform any job needed--including collision repairs and custom builds. In fact, Rich was the lead technician for our entry that won the San Francisco Rod and Custom show in 2005.
| Sean is a meticulous tech that has years of dealership experience. He has worked with Engelbert in the dealership environment, but wanted to try the aftermarket custom shops for a change.
Sean quickly realized that his skills weren't being used. He came to us and we jumped on the chance to bring his quality work to our team. Sean handles anything thrown at him, and completes jobs with meticulous detail.
Sean has already built some cool bikes that are on our sales floor--but you better hurry if you want to see them--the first several sold in the first couple of days!

Dave is a Certified ASE Technician that we were lucky to get on our team. After the shakeup in the auto industry, Dave wanted a change--so we gave it to him. He has been building engines, transmissions, and major services.
Dave is also a talented welder. He has made several specialty tools for the shop, enabling the Oakland H-D Crew to perform services more efficiently and accurately.
| Tony has been around motorcycles for over 25 years. In fact, Tony has Syn 3 running through his veins. He comes to us from a local high profile motorcycle builder. Like Sean, Tony became tired of the aftermarket shops. He wanted to get in a dealership and expand his knowledge. Tony can handle any work thrown at him, from custom builds to engine mods.

| |
Dave J. came to us with a MMI degree and love of Harley-Davidson motorcycles. He has over four years as a Technician with dealership experience. Dave was recommended to us by other techs in the industry, with high praises from his peers.
Once we interviewed Dave, we knew he would fit right in. Dave's dedication to learning his trade and attention to detail fits right in with the Oakland Harley-Davidson shop's philosophy.
| Justin is a graduate of Motorcycle Mechanic's Institute in Arizona. He has earned the Technician status and works on all types of bikes that roll through. He has been a an asset to the Oakland Harley-Davidson team, tackling services, Pre-Owned bikes, and anything else we send his way. Justin rides a FXDB, and digs the Harley-Davidson® brand.
|
| |
Like the rest of the team, Mike Baca lives Harley-Davidson®. Mike makes sure our pre-owned inventory is thoroughly inspected, serviced, repaired, and ready for a new home. Mike has a wealth of Harley-Davidson knowledge, and has built several customs. He can fix just about anything--just give him a project and let him go!
| If you are just getting into motorcycling, or have had a bike for years, these guys will make sure you are taken care of. Want to see the shop? Stop by and ask the guys for a tour!

Ryan heads the Oakland Harley-Davidson service team. Ryan has been in the industry for over 8 years, and he has a loyal guest following. Ryan has earned the position of service manager by his dedication to making things right. He lives to ride his 2009 FLHT Electra Glide--with over 50,000 miles on his bike, when he isn't at work, he is on the bike.
| Nathan has been with us for almost a year. He quickly proved he has the skills and aptitude to grow Oakland Harley-Davidson's service business.
Nathan has grown up in a Harley-Davidson dealership, so he is well versed in EVERYTHING Harley-Davidson. Another customer service oriented person, Nathan excelled at his last dealership, where he brought them to the top of the CSI scores for their district.
He has a unique technical background that allows him to communicate the issues with your bike to a technician. He will make sure your bike is repaired correctly the first time, every time!
|
| |
Brandon started as our inside sales specialist. He has now earned the position of Service Consultant. Brandon is totally customer focused. After the technicians have completed the repairs on the motorcycles, he checks each one to make sure it is up to Oakland Harley-Davidson's standards. Come by and ask Brandon for a tour of the shop--he'll give you a behind the scenes look at our crew.
| Steve spent several years as a independent tool distributor, maintaining his own business. Luckily, he came our way when he wanted a career change. Steve has been into bikes for years, and rides a FLSTN every day. Stop by and ask Steve for a tour of the shop--he'll convince you Oakland Harley-Davidson® is the only place for your service needs.

Gene has been riding all his life, and currently owns a 2011 FLTRX. Being the race junkie that he is, he had to have a 110" motor put in it right after buying the bike off the floor!
Gene test rides bikes after they are completed, as well as picking them up in our service truck. He has recently retired from a commercial driving job, so he knows the road, and how a bike should handle on the road. His feedback to the technician is critical to making sure all of our customer's needs are addressed.
| If you have had a down bike, you have probably met Bill. Bill manages our pick up and delivery of motorcycles.
If your bike is down or doesn't run, Bill can get it to our shop safely for you. He also doubles as a test rider for the techs when they are done servicing the bike.
While test riding, Bill has been trained to check for handling issues, electrical components working correctly, and verifying that the customer running conditions have been corrected. Bill rides a 2003 FLSTC.
|
| |
Larnell is the guy that keeps everyone on their toes. Larnell, Omar and Kyle are responsible for making sure the motorcycles are clean and ready for pickup.
Larnell also keeps the techs running, making sure their lifts have motorcycles on them, their work areas are clean, and all of the equipment is in good working order.
As always, Larnell's crew has the highest Harley-Davidson CSI Scores for returning a motorcycle clean to the customer after service.
